Gymnastics!

 

Jordynn participated with WY School of Gymnastics from age 7 to age 13.  She was on the team and competed for several years.  Since we've lived in Flagstaff, it hasn't worked out for her to continue with gymnastics.  She has REALLY missed it a lot.  She recently applied to work at a gym here in town.  Last week she was able to start 'shadowing' another coach.  Unfortunately they do not have any coaching positions opened at this time, but they did offer her a class to assist (it's a larger class with only 1 coach) in exchange for enrollment in the Teen Tumbling class.  She went to the Thursday night class last week and had the time of her life.  She was super excited that she could still do a round off, back tuck and a back handspring, back tuck without a spot.  Now she's trying to get her front handspring, front tuck back.  She said she landed on her bottom, but it was also toward the end and she was really tired.  It'll come! Yesterday was her first day assisting.  She is so happy to be back in the gym!
